Valor vs A. I. in less than 3 minutes (using Frag Cannon / Laser Bug)

Pretty heavy bug:
1. Collect the Frag-Cannon
2. Shoot until you run out of ammo
3. While you are blasting up your ammo, collect laser upgrades up to level 4
4. automatic weapon change -> Have fun with the heavy-multi-octo laser Power

Fortunately, the bug is difficult to use in multiplayer.
Usually you don't have enough time before you get killed....

Cool,

Nice job, do you think it would work with the typhoon too?

Wow!

Thanks for reporting that! I've passed it on to DeadmanJack so the engineering guys can look at it.

Here's a Bug Hunter award for taking the time to document it well!

Wow! I really wanted to see what the spin attack looked like. :)

Certainly a little heavy on the energy usage, but it's quite effective.

I noticed that in both examples you had not picked up the plasma cannon, which would be the auto-switch weapon if it were in your arsenal. I wonder if it happens with plasma, as well. Pretty sure I already know what the cause is, and I'm guessing that fusion probably wouldn't work.

Hi Rob,

although I previously switched to the Plasma Cannon, the Frag Cannon is automatically switched to Laser, after the ammo has been used up.

Curiously, the bug doesn't affect the spin attack, it even deactivates the "octo"laser.

Until then, the motto for match-start is always:

Who gets the Frag Cannon first to be able to switch to the superlaser quickly?
