Won't Launch in Steam VR Mode

EDIT: ISSUE FIXED!!!

 

FOR THOSE WONDERING, YOU MUST TURN OFF THE EXPERIMENTAL DIRECTX 12 SUPPORT.

 

Here are the instructions that Dunk posted below:

For anyone else reading this:

 

To turn off DX12 to use VR, open the launcher in non-VR mode, open the gear menu, and turn off DX12 support.

Then you can close and reopen the launcher in VR mode to play.

I receive the above error when trying to launch the game in Steam VR mode to play on my HTC Vive.

 

I am able to play the game traditionally (on my monitor) from both Steam and the DU Launcher from here.

Hi.  I notice that the game is being launched in DirectX 12 mode.  It is experimental and can be quite unstable.  Can you try running the game after turning off DX12 in the launcher (you'll have to run the launcher in non-VR mode to change this)?
